Professionally
I’m Khadija Collins — a business strategist, operator, and sustainability advocate passionate about helping organizations grow with purpose.
For nearly a decade, I’ve supported entrepreneurs, non-profits, and small business leaders in strengthening their operations and scaling their impact. My journey began early, watching my dad operate in the residential real estate field. I believe business can, and should, be a force for good.
After earning my degree in Leadership & Management from the University of Mary Washington, I worked across real estate operations and sales, consulting, and organizational management, partnering with family-owned firms and mission-driven teams to optimize efficiency and unlock growth.
I now combine that experience with my studies as an MBA student at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, where I’m concentrating in Sustainable Business and Global Real Estate. My focus is on building a bridge between finance, climate innovation, and community resilience. I’m researching how businesses can decarbonize operations, develop sustainable infrastructure, and access creative financing to fuel long-term impact.
As the Founder of Ops Haven, I lead a team that works with and connects non-profits and small businesses with operations and administrative professionals who help maximize social impact. Our mission is to ensure that purpose-driven organizations have the systems, people, and processes they need to thrive sustainably.

Personally

I love being a “try everything at least once-er”
Okay… almost everything!
I’ve always believed that curiosity is the foundation of growth — and I love trying (almost) everything at least once! Whether it’s exploring new cuisines, diving into coral reef restoration projects, or connecting with communities across borders, I’m happiest when I’m learning and giving back.
Fun Facts:
- 🌍 I’ve lived in Madrid, Spain and Guadalajara, Mexico, and speak fluent Spanish
- 🤿 I’m a certified scuba diver and reef renewal diver, helping restore coral in Bonaire
- 🧀 Favorite foods: eggplant parmesan, spinach lasagna, and my mom’s mac and cheese
- 🎨 Love arts & crafts — especially painting and decorating with friends
- 🧳 I’ve traveled to 11 countries (and counting!)
- 🪳 Greatest fear: cockroaches (don’t judge!)
- 🍫 Unpopular opinion: not a fan of chocolate
